Web templates
The website templates may be used to build a site that:
- is properly branded as a UC Davis site
- is compatible with all modern browsers and degrades gracefully in older browsers
- uses valid, standards-compliant XHTML markup
- complies with federal accessibility guidelines as specified in Section 508 of the 1998 Rehabilitation Act

Powerpoint templates
The PowerPoint templates provided here are compatible with both Windows and Mac systems, yet must be used differently. Download the version you need for your computer and follow the usage and installation instructions.
- Office 2008 for Windows: Consult your department’s IT technician for installation.
- Office 2004 and earlier for Windows: Double-clicking on the file will open a new untitled PowerPoint presentation.
- Office 2008 for Mac: Copy to /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office/User Templates/My Templates/ and access the template via these menus: File > Project Gallery > My Templates
- Office 2004 and earlier for Mac: Double-clicking on the file will open a new untitled PowerPoint presentation.
